My aspects are changing and my Paladin is coming to greater and greater prominence. As a result of this, I find that he has had a distinct lack of development when compared to some of the other archetypes of my mentality. In particular, he does not have a standard or any other kind of quasi-hemi-demi heraldic symbol.

I'm not good at determining symbolism - it just kind of comes to me, and I feel that it would take too long. I'm asking for help for people who want to offer suggestions about this.

What I do know is that I'm currently trying to stay away from the Cougar and Gryphon motifs I have going. I don't want to assume too much of them in everything, because there are so many symbols out there and they are their own entities. Likewise, the whole Lettuce motif is somewhat silly - while it is integral, I do not feel like being Davos from G.R.R. Martin's series, nor would I want him to be known as "The Lettuce Knight".

I am tentatively thinking of something to do with the moon and stars, including other aspects. I'm not sure. Any ideas? I really could use them. :D

I feel as though non-tree plants that don't flower (especially edibles) get the short end of the straw in symbolism way too often. Still, it would be a bit much to get people to take seriously, i suppose.

You have an affinity for oak, yes? Perhaps something related to that? Gryphon and cougar would make better supporters of a crest, anyway. I've been considering using the aurochs due to its occurrence in the crests of the birthplaces of roughly half my ancestry... maybe something related to where your family is from, or where you are from?

There's also colors and patterns to consider... i'll try and have a look into that and let you know what i find.

The thing with colors and such is that this is for a comissioned art piece which will be done in grayscale/pen & ink and the like. So colors themselves are not a priority right now.
